UNEARTHED used to be tea-log.com which started as an Instagram tea blog where I am still sharing my personal collection of ceramics as well as regular tea reviews. Some of the content is also available here:

Lao Cong Song Zhong in beautiful small Chaozhou teapot. Both absolute highlights for me! And I can say I had one of the best sessions of the year with this setup on my balcony.
this review I am digging into some Yiwu tea from Henning, who lives in Shanghai. I got 4 really interesting samples from his private stash (thank you so much Henning).
Here my tasting notes from a session with the ThesDuJapon Yume Wakabe cultivar Sencha from the Tokyo area. This time I wanted to experiment and try to brew it in my (normally Zairai dedicated) Shigaraki rough clay kyusu!
The second part of this tutorial, this time from Wuyishan, Fujian, China. I am talking about water, thermos bottles and show off the beautiful tea mountains. Enjoy watching.
A few days ago I posted about one of my selfmade white teas made from Long Jing material. Today I want to show you the actual first white tea I made, a Yancha which was fully processed in my hotel room in Wuyishan 😁🙈
All of us feel the urge to take our tea experience outside, into nature, introducing friends to tea, etc. In this video I am going to introduce 3 tea travel sets which I am using. I hope you enjoy the video.
A long overdue video from my visit of the Nilgiris in December 2018. In this video I talk about tea growing in South India and especially the Nilgiris. I visited a novel processing unit, the Tea Studio, which is producing artisanal teas from Assamica material in the Nilgiris. They offered me to join them processing one of their green teas, a chinese style Mao Feng.
